Hi David. There are occasional outages like this one (always starting on a Monday) due to the schedule of the person who kindly supplies the feed. The LAT archive gets updated on his return.
In the meantime, there's a very nice workaround to get the puzzles: (1) Install the Crossword Scraper browser extension for Chrome or Firefox (you'll need one of those two browsers) (2) Navigate to the current day's puzzle at
https://www.latimes.com/games/daily-crossword (3) Click the down arrow installed by the extension, which should appear at the top right of the browser pane. Select PUZ from the choices available and you will be good to go.
